Plan International Australia

Put simply, we’re the charity for girls’ equality. We tackle the root causes of poverty, support communities through crisis, campaign for gender equality, and help governments do what’s right for children and particularly for girls. We are here to ignite the creativity, talent and ideas of girls in all their diversities. We are informed by evidence, and always learning. A better now for her. A better future for everyone. This is what we stand for. Will you join us?

The Fred Hollows Foundation

The Fred Hollows Foundation has a very clear goal: we’re putting an end to avoidable blindness. When this day comes, people in developing countries will get the same quality eye care the rest of the world takes for granted – and we won’t stop until this is done.

World Animal Protection

Every day billions of animals experience unbearable suffering and cruelty. Our world is changing fast. As people face urgent issues like the climate emergency, health risks and depleting natural resources, we give animals a voice to ensure their needs are met. Because we all call this planet home. Right now, we're prioritizing issues where change can transform the lives of the greatest number of animals - transforming the global food system for farm animals and ending wildlife exploitation.

Kids Under Cover

For young people at risk of homelessness, space is life changing. Kids Under Cover is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preventing youth homelessness. We provide studio accommodation in family backyards and education scholarships. By making space for living we make space for a brighter future.

Variety Queensland

All kids deserve a fair go. Variety – the Children’s Charity supports Aussie kids facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with a disability. Our work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase their self-esteem. We make sure the kids who miss out, can always join in.

Médecins Sans Frontières

Médecins Sans Frontières exists to save lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. All these situations call for a rapid response with specialised medical and logistical help. But, we also run longer-term projects, tackling health crises and supporting people where the need is greatest. We currently have projects running in over 70 countries.

Black Dog Institute

Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, our aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. We do this through ‘translational’ research. Integrating our research studies, education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to discover new solutions, foster connections and create real-world change.

The Shepherd Centre – for deaf children

Ensuring that every child with hearing loss achieves the best listening, spoken language and social skills they are capable of. Our vision is to enable children who are deaf and hearing-impaired to develop spoken language so they may fully participate in the world and reach their full potential.

Taronga Conservation Society Australia

Through research, education and action, Taronga is leading vital work that supports wildlife, habitats and communities: from native Australian animals that lost their homes in recent bushfires, to critically endangered species around the world

Food For Change

At Food For Change, volunteers grow their own produce, lead food rescue initiatives, support food relief agencies and reduce food waste across the country. This is all done with one goal in mind: to alleviate food inequality, which devastates thousands of Australians each year.

World Vision Australia

World Vision goes where the need is greatest to help the most vulnerable children around the world. We’re dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. We’re part of a global movement - a Christian humanitarian organisation that provides short and long-term assistance to more than 100 million people worldwide. Over the past 50 years, more than two million Australians have chosen to partner with us when giving to charity.

Mission Australia

Mission Australia is a national Christian charity motivated by a shared vision of an Australia where everyone has a safe home and can thrive. Since 1859, we’ve been standing alongside people in need across Australia, offering real hope that has a lasting impact.

Every day we deliver homelessness crisis and prevention services, provide social and affordable housing, assist struggling families and children, address mental health issues, fight substance dependencies, support people with disability and much more.

Starlight Children's Foundation

At Starlight, we know that happiness matters to sick kids facing the pain, fear, and stress of serious illness. That’s why we work in partnership with health professionals to bring the fun, joy, and laughter that is essential to sick kids’ health and wellbeing.

From one Starlight Wish granted more than 30 years ago, we now create over half a million Starlight Experiences to sick kids each year.

Greenpeace

Greenpeace challenges the systems of power and privilege that destroy the environment and place disproportionate burdens on vulnerable communities. As Greenpeace, we know from nature that diversity is essential to life on the planet and success in our organization.

We welcome, value, and rely on a diversity of people, cultural experiences, and perspectives. We learn from one another. Through our campaigning, we create solutions that promote environmental sustainability rooted in social justice.
